Green Eggs and ….

(Turkey) bacon!  We had an impromptu party last night to celebrate the birthday of the great Dr Seuss.  We listened to the soundtrack to “Seussical the Musical”, colored pictures and did Seussical wordsearches, and read aloud from our collection of Dr Suess books.  And here’s what we had for dinner!

Looks fairly gross but I’m sure it was delicious:). Long live the spirit of Dr. Z.

Hmm. Interesting looking eggs. I must commend you for the courage to make them.

They actually tasted better than they look, in fact, ironman (my 4 year-old daughter) has decided they are the best eggs to have, so I fear we may have to eat them again soon!

eww 10/10 for effort and memory making. If you’re celebrating Roald Dahl, Charlie and the chocolate factory I’d love an invite to tea :)

Don’t know about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but Mad Hatter’s Tea Party could be on the cards!

If you close your eyes, they taste OK! At least they weren’t blue, someone once made me an omelette with blue food colouring in it, and I couldn’t eat it!
